Yes, wheels are optional and can be installed to allow for movement of your oven in your yard.

The Donatello II external temperature is not hot to touch, the heat is contained within the oven.  Therefore, you can judge the clearance required with your builder to allow for safe functionality of the oven.

We recommend to not use any combustible bench material

Once the oven is cured, allow approximately 90 minutes.

Once the oven has reached the temperature you require, you will need to maintain it with a constant flame by adding more wood.  Usually, depending on the wood you’re using, it would require one log at a time.  Different temperatures are recommended for different types of food: • At 200 Degrees, you can cook meats, fish, vegetables, and bread. • At 300 Degrees you can cook pizzas, focaccias, stews (slow cooked and well covered), and meats. • At 400 Degrees, pizzas can be cooked.

The Donatello II external temperature is not hot, it can be touched around the rendered painted area.  The parts that are hot whilst in use are the metal arch, the metal door and the stainless-steel flue.

Approximately between 5kg to 10kg of wood is required to get the oven very hot.

You can place 3 large wood fire pizzas in the oven at one time. Pizzas will take approximately 1 to 2 minutes to cook.

The oven can be cleaned with a light bristle broom.  You can wash dirty areas off with running water and then broom.  Note: OVEN MUST BE COLD.  Never use high pressure cleaning on any part of the oven.  For the interior of the oven, you do not need any cleaning products, just sweep the ashes out when cooled. This does not have to be done after every cook, just when there is a build-up of ashes.

Yes, we use and recommend membrane paint such as Acratex Dulux. Polito will supply some touch up paint with your oven.
